In general there are two basic devices used for vaping. They are the e-cig and the mod. The e-cig, also known as an e-cigarette, is the more well-known of the two. The coil heats up the e-liquid. The hot e-liquid creates a vapor that the smoker inhales and also creates a vapor cloud. This vapor is much like the smoke in a traditional cigarette, but tobacco-free. Some e-cigs have a light at the end that lights up on an inhale to make it look like the lit end of a traditional cigarette.
E-cigs are often the first type of vape devices a new user may try. Often this is because it has a similar look and feel to a traditional tobacco cigarette. Also much like a traditional cigarette, the e-cig is a smaller sized vape device. Due to its smaller size the e-cig contains a prefilled e-liquid cartridge. They tend to be a one-use product.
